The new Antitrust, Competition and Consumer Law department, headed by Gabriella Muscolo, a new partner of the firm since last June, has been operational since last 7th September.
In conjunction with this opening, the firm opened a desk in Rome, also managed by Gabriella.
These changes are part of the broader strategy of growth and diversification that the firm is pursuing in order to strengthen its consulting and assistance services to businesses, which are becoming increasingly targeted and updated in a market context that is progressively more competitive and global.
The new area, drawing on Gabriella's thirty years of institutional and international experience, covers antitrust law in domestic, European and global markets, with a particular focus on the trade-off between competition and innovation and the multidisciplinary connections with consumer, intellectual property and privacy law.
The team's expertise extends to fast-moving markets, such as digital and data driven markets, IT and pharmaceuticals.
